STANDARD SHOCK SENSOR

SP3237

Terminus UL approved Shock Sensors offer superior perimeter protection and are designed to mount on windows, walls, roofs, ATMs or night depositories. They are also designed for safes and vaults.

The SP3237 contains two sets of contacts that must be activated simultaneously to signal an alarm. This dual contact technology reduces false alarms caused by failure of the single contact.

All metal components are gold plated and hermetically sealed against dust and moisture. The SP3237 meets rigid ASTM standards for eliminating corrosion from liquid or vapor contaminants.

Intruder induced shock waves trigger the dual elements to momentarily bounce off gold plated electrical contacts. An open circuit then sends a signal to a Terminus processor that analyzes and reports its status to the main alarm control panel.

SP3227

Terminus Recessed Shock Sensors deliver proven shock sensor technology in a small, flush-mounted package.

The SP3227 dual element Recessed Shock Sensor is installed flush with a window or door frame, remaining unnoticed while providing superior perimeter protection.

The sensor flange can be painted to blend with any decor, so it’s perfect for residential applications and commercial installations where appearance is important.

The SP3227 may also be used in pre-wire applications. Since the sensor is recessed in the window frame, it will not be damaged during completion of construction.
